You’re A Coward?

Yep, I’ve known some cowards who wouldn’t (and still won’t) address this issue head on though that’s what it requires.

“Are you creating a community or a clique?"

I saw this on Twitter and...just Wow.

I've seen places and spaces where you can't tell which one it is.

Many places in tech, innovation, and
the startup and entrepreneurial spaces HAVE BECOME CLIQUES
(that reject people who aren’t a "fit") though they may have initially started with GOOD INTENTIONS to create community.

It's important to know the difference and bring light to this issue and not just whisper about it behind the scenes if we really want to include everyone on this caravan into the future.

If you've found yourself with a clique though you wanted to build a community, it's not too late to change direction.

But be ready for the resistance and subsequent attrition from people who enjoyed the clique.

An entire culture shift will be required and you have the ability to do it, but do you have the COURAGE? 🤔

Be honest.

Note: There might be typos in this post. Autocorrect on phones can be such a gem 😉
